For the 12th time, the International Festival of Youth Creativity FOLK INSPIRATIONS will appear on the stage in Manufaktura. On Friday 16th September at 14.00-21.00 there will be a concert of festival participants and guests within CONTINENT#FACTORY FOLK event.
The festival stage will be filled with dance, vocal and instrumental presentations by groups and soloists from the numerous countries. BHONGIMA DANCE THEATRE from BANGLADESH, CULTURAL ASSOCIATION “AIOLIDA” from GREECE, DIASI and Mikheil Dvalishvili from GEORGIA, TE AMO MEXICO from MEXICO, BAQOUN FOLKLORE DANCE GROUP from PALESTINE and groups from UKRAINE: FLAMINGO National Dance Group from Kiev, NATIONAL ARTISTIC GROUP “DEBIUT” -FASHION THEATRE FROM Kryvyi Rih, THE VOCAL GROUP “OSTRIV DITINSTVA” FROM LVIV, THE SONG STUDIO “ROZHEVA PANTERA” – Elizaveta Dudkina and Polina Gawrylenko from SLAVUTYCH.
Poland will be represented by the ACADEMIC SONG AND DANCE GROUP OF THE UNIVERSITY OF LODZ “KUJON”, THE SONG AND DANCE GROUP “ŁÓDŹ” and groups operating at J. Tuwim Youth Centre in Łódź: POLTEX SONG AND DANCE ENSEMBLE, “KRAJKI” ARTISTIC GROUP, “HERE AND NOW” MODERN DANCE GROUP and singers from the SONG STUDIO.
The festival stage will also be enriched by the presentations of DUO LATINO “KURAKAS” Manuel Murillo Montenegro and Rolando Alfaro Alvarado from Ecuador and PERU and CUBAN MIX Angel Yuniel Cardena Diaz with dancers from CUBA.
During the Friday concert (at 17.00) the FOLK-ART CHALLENGE for peace in the world will take place and at 18.00, prizes will be awarded to the winners of the GOLDEN BOAT 2022 – DANCE competition.
At the end of the concert, there will be the Senegalese-Polish group THE BADJI BAND presenting African funk jazz fusion.
Also on Friday, the Factory Museum (at 12.00) will host an opening of exhibitions and installations referring to Polish folk crafts and multicultural traditions – PORTRAITS, MASKS AND HANGING GARDENS.

The festival is organized by the Foundation for the Promotion and Support of Creativity CONVIVO and Julian Tuwim Youth Centre in Łódź.
The festival is held under the honorary patronage of the the Mayor of the City of Łódź, Hanna Zdanowska. Media patrons are TVP3 Łódź and Radio Łódź.
