For the second time, the Botanical Garden in Łódź is a partner of the events of the International Festival of Youth Creativity FOLK INSPIRATIONS. You will be able to listen to folk rhythms from all over the world there.
On Saturday,17th September at 14.00 there will be the open-air concert FOLK IN THE BOTANICAL GARDEN, during which we will admire the participants and guests of the festival: BHONGIMA DANCE THEATRE from BANGLADESH, DANCE GROUP “BULGARICA” from BULGARIA, CULTURAL ASSOCIATION “AIOLIDA” from GREECE, TE AMO MEXICO from Mexico BAQOUNN DANCE GROUP from PALESTINE, groups from UKRAINE: NATIONAL DANCE GROUP “FLAMINGO” from KIEV, NATIONAL ARTISTIC GROUP “DEBUT” -FASHION THEATRE from KRYVYI RIH and VOCAL GROUP “OVASTRIV DITINST” from Lviv.
The will also be the Polish folk groups presenting the beauty of our traditions: SONG AND DANCE GROUP from Kutno, CHILDREN’S SONG AND DANCE GROUP “NOWOPILICZANIE” and the “POLTEX” SONG AND DANCE ENSEMBLE from J. Tuwim Youth Centre in Łódź.
Apart from that, original collections of folk design prepared by the participants of the GOLDEN BOAT – DESIGN 2022 competition will be presented.
Throughout the concert, you will be able to take part in folk art workshops prepared by folk artists and watch presentations of the cultures and traditions of the festival participants.
At 16.00 on the open-air stage we will get to know the winners of the GOLDEN BOAT 2022 – PHOTO, VIDEO, DESIGN competition.
At the same time, there will be a photo exhibition of the traveller Radosław Bartnik “…” presenting photos from a trip to the farthest corners of the world.

The festival is organized by the Foundation for the Promotion and Support of Creativity CONVIVO and Julian Tuwim Youth Centre in Łódź.
The festival is held under the honorary patronage of the the Mayor of the City of Łódź, Hanna Zdanowska. Media patrons are TVP3 Łódź and Radio Łódź.
The task “12th International Festival of Youth Creativity FOLK INSPIRATIONS” is carried out thanks to co-financing from the budget of the City of Łódź.
