12 FOLK INSPIRATIONS is a folk-ethnic journey through different corners of our globe. The theme of this year’s festival events will be folk#continents. We will host artists from different parts of the world.
For the first time, the Bhongima Dance Theatre Group, which comes from Bangladesh, will perform on the stages of the festival. The group was founded in 2005. Syeda Saila Ahmed is its founder and choreographer . The participants use various forms of dance in their presentations: contemporary, folk or classical.
Meetings of the group are held regularly and the dancers have successfully performed in many countries and places around the world: Egypt, Singapore, China, Africa, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Mauritius, Bhutan, Nepal, India.
They are a well-known theatre group that is constantly working to improve their performances.
