The opening of the 12th International Festival of Youth Creativity FOLK INSPIRATIONS this year will take place on the stage of the Grand Theatre in Lodz. The Grand Theatre has joined the group of festival partners.
On 15th September at 6.00 p.m. there will be the concert WITH FOLK THROUGH THE CONTINENTS, which will be the start of this year’s festival events.
The following participants and guests of the festival will perform on the stage of the Grand Theatre – BHONGIMA DANCE THEATER from BANGLADESH, CULTURAL ASSOCIATION “AIOLIDA” from GREECE, DIASI and Mikheil Dvalishvili from GEORGIA, TE AMO MEXICO from MEXICO, BAQOUN FOLKLORE DANCE GROUP from Palestine “OSTRIV DITINSTVA” vocal group from Lviv, NATIONAL CONTEMPORARY DANCE GROUP “FLAMINGO” from KIEV, FASHION THEATRE “DEBUT” from Kryvyi Rih and ELIZAVET DUDUTKIN from Slavutych.
Thanks to music, dance, vocal and instrumental presentations, we will be able to travel to the farthest corners of our globe.
The Song and Dance Ensemble POLTEX will take the viewers on a journey through the folk # CONTINENTS, presenting our native traditions from the Łowicz region.
There will also be Polish folk and contemporary accents performed by POLTEX, KRAJKI, TU I TERAZ, vocalists – Julia Grenda, Katarzyna Starosta and the Song Studio from the Youth Centre in Lodz.
The opening concert at the Grand Theatre is an open event.
