The National Artistic Ensemble “Debut” Fashion Theatre works at the “ZMINA” Centre for extracurricular education in Kryvyi Rih. Tetiana Shyrshova is the director of the Centre and the invariable Artistic Director.
The main goal of the Fashion Theatre’s activities is to develop the creative activity of children and young people on various levels and to identify talented children. In 2018, the ensemble celebrated its 25-year anniversary.
“Debut” participated in many international projects, such as “To change the world for the better” (“Artek” Youth Centre), “10 good deeds”, the organization of the Days of Ukraine in Turkey, the days of the writer Shevchenko in Slovenia and others. Within the framework of these projects, children had the opportunity to learn about the culture and traditions of other countries, communicate with their peers, develop intellectual dialogue, open their creative potential, share experiences, see the creative achievements of others, open new horizons for their own development.
“Debut” has been a regular and very active participant in the Folk Inspirations Festival since 2012. Participants of the group take part in the Golden Boat competition every year, they have organized workshops on clothing and jewellery design more than once, numerous fashion shows, performances on festival stages, participation in the recording of the video and many other activities.
We can’t imagine the 12th edition of the Festival without the “Debut” Fashion Theatre.
