On Sunday there was a FOLK PARADE down PIOTRKOWSKA STREET, a dance-music-theatre parade of festival participants from Asia, Africa, North America and Europe. It was joyful, colourful and…. rainy, but the participants were in good mood until the end.

On Saturday and Sunday, festival participants and guests from Bangladesh, Mexico, Greece, Palestine and Ukraine visited the newly opened urban attraction – the Orientarium at the Lodz Zoo.

We were planning to organize “Folk in the Botanical Garden”. Unfortunately, weather conditions changed our plans. So, the third day of Folk Inspirations was spent at our Centre.”

FOLK-ART CHALLENGE for peace in the world was held as part of the CONTINENT#FACTORY OF FOLK concert at Manufaktura, during which this year’s festival guests appealed for peace in the world.

On Friday, there was a concert of participants and guests of the festival within CONTINENT#FACTORY of folk event. As promised, there were lots of rhythms, sounds, colours from every continent in the world!
