On Friday at 12:00 pm, the Factory Museum hosted the opening of exhibitions and installations relating to Polish folk crafts and multicultural traditions – PORTRAITS, MASKS AND HANGING GARDENS.

Many cultures-one idea!
Within “Many Cultures – One Idea” event on the second day of Folk Inspirations, festival participants learned about the history and culture of our city. Groups from Mexico, Greece and Ukraine visited the Museum of the City of Lodz located in the former palace of the factory owner Israel Poznański. Have a look at a short photo report!

On the first day of the 12th edition of the Folk Inspirations festival, we had the opportunity, together with young people from schools in Lodz, to inaugurate the “Lodz legends and traditions” quest game.
WELCOME TO LODZ!
We started the first day of the Festival by welcoming the participants of the 12th edition of Folk Inspirations at the Grand Theatre. Young people from 15 countries around the world were welcomed by Adam Kocher – Director of the festiwal, Anna Kamińska – President of the Convivo Foundation, Song and Dance Ensemble Poltex.
Concert at the Grand Theatre
On Thursday we started this year’s Festival with a concert at the Grand Theatre! There were artists from 17 countries around the world! It was a colourful, joyful, intercultural and, of course, folk event!
